Welcome to YouGO cars Montenegro! Before using our website yougocars.me and making a vehicle reservation, please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing our site, using our services, and making a reservation, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Definitions

  • “YouGO Cars”, “we”, “us”, “our” – refers to the car rental company operating in Montenegro.
  • “You”, “Renter”, “Client” – refers to the individual or entity making a reservation and/or renting a vehicle from YouGO Cars.
  • “Vehicle” – means the car or other vehicle rented by YouGO Cars to the Renter.
  • “Rental Agreement” – means the contract signed between YouGO Cars and the Renter at the time of vehicle pickup, which includes these Terms and Conditions.
  • “Reservation” – means the act of booking a vehicle through our website or authorized channels.
  • “Rental Period” – means the agreed-upon time for renting the vehicle, starting from the pickup date and time until its return.

2. Reservation and Confirmation

  • Reservations can be made through our website or other specified channels.
  • All reservations are subject to vehicle availability.
  • A reservation is considered confirmed only after you receive an email or notification from YouGO cars Montenegro.
  • You are responsible for ensuring all booking information is correct.
  • YouGO Cars reserves the right to decline a reservation at its sole discretion.

3. Driver Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years.
  • Present a valid passport or other ID.

4. Payment

  • Payment must be made in cash only at the time of vehicle pickup.
  • The total rental cost shown during the reservation is the final service price and includes mandatory taxes and any selected optional extras.

5. Vehicle Pickup and Return

  • The vehicle must be picked up at the location and time specified in your booking confirmation.
  • You are responsible for checking the vehicle for existing damage before accepting it. All pre-existing damage must be recorded in the handover report.
  • The vehicle must be returned at the time, date, and location specified in the Rental Agreement.
  • Exceeding the agreed return time by more than 30 minutes will incur an additional daily charge.
  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear, and with all documents and accessories.

6. Vehicle Use

  • Only the Renter and authorized additional drivers listed in the agreement may operate the vehicle.
  • The vehicle must not be used 
  • for illegal purposes (e.g., transporting illegal substances).
  • for paid transportation of freight or passengers,
  • to push or tow other vehicle,
  • in motor sport events or any kind of competition,
  • to transport animals combustible or explosive freight, freight with strong, unpleasant smell, or bulky freight than can damage the vehicle.
  • racing, off-road driving, towing, or any activity that may damage the vehicle is prohibited.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden.
  • You are responsible for following all traffic laws in Montenegro.
  • for paid transportation of freight or passengers,
    – to push or tow other vehicle,
    – in motor sport events or any kind of competition,
    – to transport animals combustible or explosive freight, freight with strong, unpleasant smell, or bulky freight than can damage the vehicle.

7. Insurance

Our insurance includes:

  • CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) – insurance for rental vehicles in case of collision.
  • Mandatory third-party liability insurance as required by Montenegrin law.
  • PAI (Personal Accident Insurance) for all passengers.
  • TP (Theft Protection) in case of theft.

8. Damage, Loss, and Theft

  • In case of damage, accident, loss, or theft of the vehicle, you must immediately notify YouGO Cars Montenegro and the local police.

9. Breakdown and Roadside Assistance

  • In case of a technical breakdown, contact YouGO Cars Montenegro immediately using the contact details provided in your agreement.
  • We will provide necessary assistance.
  • Unauthorized repairs are not allowed.

10. Cancellations and Changes

  • Any changes or cancellations must be discussed and arranged individually.
  • Changes or cancellations may incur additional fees.
  • YouGO Cars Montenegro reserves the right to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances – in such cases, a full refund will be issued.

11. Privacy Policy

Your personal data will be collected, used, and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on our website.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any related disputes shall be governed by the laws of Montenegro.
All disputes will be settled by the competent courts in Montenegro.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions together with the Rental Agreement constitute the entire agreement between YouGO Cars Montenegro and the Renter, superseding any prior verbal or written arrangements.

14. Changes to the Terms

YouGO Cars Montenegro reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without notice. The updated version will be published on our website. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.
